Service Description

This program gives you the skills and experience required to safely lead groups of certified divers, and is the first step towards an exciting career as an SSI Dive Professional without requiring you to complete an instructor program. Professional Dive Guides can work for SSI Dive Centers, guiding dives in a variety of environments and conditions. You will earn the SSI Dive Guide certification after completing this program. This course is only offered at the Professional level. The professional level enables you to work as a dive professional leading certified divers from around the world. Once certified as a professional dive guide, you can also qualify to teach the SSI Ecology Courses. The SSI Divemaster rating recognizes candidates that have the knowledge and training necessary to perform the duties of a certified assistant. These duties including assisting SSI Instructors with conducting entry-level a continuing education scuba training programs. Includes: Science of Diving and Dive Guide Specialties, and SSI Pro Fee, SSI Digital Course and Dive Guide Slates.
